Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Shift Incharge to oversee production operations during the assigned shift at our chemical manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth plant operations, achieving production targets, maintaining safety standards, and managing shift manpower efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all production activities during the assigned shift.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the daily production plan.
- Monitor process parameters and take corrective actions whenever required.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures, PPE usage, and company policies.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control, Maintenance, and Stores departments for uninterrupted production.
- Maintain production reports, shift logbooks, and operational records accurately.
- Allocate manpower effectively and monitor attendance during the shift.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and implementation of 5S practices across the production area.
- Report equipment breakdowns, process abnormalities, and safety incidents to the Plant Head.
- Conduct effective shift handover and takeover with the incoming Shift Incharge.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and operational SOPs.

Eligibility
- Diploma / B.Sc. / B.E. in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 6–10 years of experience as a Shift Incharge, Shift Supervisor, or Production Supervisor in a Chemical, Process, or Manufacturing Industry.
- Experience in handling production manpower and shift operations is mandatory.
