The Impact You'll Make

As our Assistant Manager – Sales, you will strengthen Danfoss Climate Solutions’ position in the Indian market by identifying new prospects, developing customer opportunities, and converting them into sustainable business growth. You will work closely with customers to understand their applications and recommend value-based climate solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and overall system performance. Working with sales, application engineering, product management, customer service, and channel partners, you will own business development activities from chance identification through technical-commercial closure and ongoing account development.

What You’ll Be Doing
Identify and qualify prospects across relevant HVAC/R and climate-solution applications, build a healthy opportunity pipeline, and convert opportunities into profitable sales growth.
Lead solution-selling conversations by understanding customer applications, technical needs, and business priorities, then positioning the most suitable products and solutions.




Develop new customers while expanding business with existing OEMs, end users, consultants, contractors, and channel partners through structured account and business-development plans.
Coordinate with application engineering, product management, customer service, and other internal teams to prepare technical-commercial proposals, support product selection, and ensure effective execution.
Track market trends, competitor activities, project developments, and customer feedback; maintain accurate opportunity updates and use the insights to improve sales actions and forecasting.

What We're Looking For
Demonstrated experience in technical or solution selling within HVAC/R, refrigeration, air-conditioning, heat-pump, industrial cooling, or a related climate-solutions market.
Sound understanding of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, with the ability to discuss customer applications and connect technical requiremen
