Responsibilities

Reactor Island Engineering Delivery

Lead engineering activities for the Reactor Island, including NSSS and safety-related systems.
Ensure timely development, review, and approval of engineering deliverables in accordance with project schedule.
Monitor engineering progress and identify potential bottlenecks affecting procurement, licensing, construction, or commissioning.
Coordinate design reviews and technical assessments across reactor island disciplines.
Ensure alignment between reactor technology supplier deliverables and project execution requirements.

Nuclear Systems Engineering & Design Integration

Manage engineering integration for:
Reactor Core Systems
Primary Heat Transport System
Steam Generators
Pressurizers
Reactor Coolant Systems
Emergency Core Cooling Systems
Safety Injection Systems
Radioactive Waste Systems
Containment Systems
Fuel Handling Systems
Nuclear HVAC and Ventilation Systems
Radiation Monitoring Systems
Ensure consistency of design basis across all reactor island systems.
Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces among civil,



mechanical, electrical, I&C;, and safety engineering teams.
Lead technical resolution of design conflicts and interface issues.
Design Authority & Configuration Management Support

Support establishment and implementation of Design Authority processes under guidance of Head – Nuclear Engineering.
Review design changes and modifications affecting nuclear safety, reliability, operability, and constructability.
Ensure all engineering changes are assessed through appropriate configuration management processes.
Maintain design basis documentation and engineering records.

Technical Specification & Procurement Support

Support development and review technical specifications for major reactor island equipment and packages.
Participate in bid evaluations and technical clarification meetings.
Review vendor engineering documents and manufacturing drawings.
Support long-lead equipment identification and procurem
