About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior Linux Administrator to join our global Infrastructure Operations team. This is a 100% remote position supporting enterprise customers based across the globe specifically US clients. The ideal candidate should have strong Linux administration expertise, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and outstanding communication skills to interact directly with US clients.
As this is a 24/7 operations environment, candidates must be willing to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays, based on business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and maintain Linux servers in production environments.
Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning of Linux systems.




Troubleshoot operating system, hardware, networking, and application-related issues.
Monitor system health, logs, and performance using enterprise monitoring tools.
Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical alerts within defined SLAs.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
Support user access management, permissions, file systems, and storage administration.
Configure and manage SSH, DNS, NFS, Samba, cron jobs, system services, and package management.
Automate routine administrative tasks using Shell scripting or Python.
Work closely with cloud, networking, security, and application teams.
Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
Provide direct technical support to US-based customers through calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
Required Technical Skills
Robust experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), C
