Job Title: CNC Operator I - Entry
Location: Orwell, OH
Shift: 3rd Shift Sunday – Thursday, 11pm – 7am
Job Summary
Run multiple machines producing a quality product to blueprint specifications.
Key Job Responsibilities
Set up and operate multiple machines. Computer controlled setup using the HMI (human machine interfaces) to make adjustment to programs or machines. Load and off-load product from multiple machines. Gage product to insure proper dimensions. Scope product to verify visual characteristics and defects.
Check product samples using assigned inspection tools and record inspection results according to process standards. Place product into appropriate racks. Separate scrap from valuable product document accurately. Scan correct production information. Maintain tooling used in machines. Train new operators when required. Trouble shooting quality and machine issues from moderate to complex.
Key Job Accountabilities
Commitment to working safely and understand all safety procedures. Deviations in routine are handled according to operating procedures and/or work instructions. Operator responsible for following process documents, assuring product is processed according to proper routings, specifications and that the quantity and style are correct. Work to meet daily departmental production goals. Must be reliable and dependable. Communicate safety, quality, product issues with supervisor, team members and across shifts.
Education And Experience
Must have High School diploma or GED
2 year technical degree preferr
