Purpose:

The Head of Data & Analytics will be responsible for leading Suzlon’s enterprise-wide data and analytics initiatives, enabling data-driven decision-making and leveraging insights to drive business growth and operational efficiency. The role will oversee the development and execution of the organization’s data strategy, manage scalable data infrastructure, and establish robust data governance frameworks.
Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for driving the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities across the organization. This includes identifying high-impact use cases, implementing advanced analytics models, leveraging machine learning and large language models (LLMs), and embedding GenAI solutions into business processes to enhance productivity, innovation, and decision intelligence.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

1.Strategy and Governance





Develop and execute a comprehensive data & analytics strategy to support business decision-making by providing data based analysis to achieve organisational objectives aligned with the organization's goals and objectives .
Establish data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
Establish data management processes and procedures, including data acquisition, storage, integration, and retention.
Collaborate with solution leads, BU and functional teams to identify data requirements and analytics use cases and prioritize initiatives based on business needs.

2.Data Architecture and Infrastructure

Design and implement a scalable and effective data architecture to support the organization's analytics and reporting needs.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of data storage, processing, and integration systems (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes, ETL processes).
Ensure appropriate design, implementation and maintenance of data architecture and oversee effective data extraction for SCADA systems.
