Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITAM Architect with 8+ years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro), Software Asset Management (SAM Pro), CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and ITSM integrations. The candidate will be responsible for defining ITAM architecture, driving implementation, and providing technical leadership to ensure best practices and governance.

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect end-to-end ServiceNow ITAM solutions aligned with business requirements.

Lead implementation of Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro) and Software Asset Management (SAM Pro).

Define ITAM architecture, data models, governance, and best practices.

Integrate ITAM with CMDB, ITSM, Discovery, Service Mapping, Procurement, SCCM, Intune, JAMF, and cloud platforms.

Design software license management, normalization, reclamation, and compliance processes.

Architect hardware asset lifecycle processes including procurement, receiving, deployment, transfer, maintenance, and retirement.

Drive CMDB health initiatives and ensure data quality across IT assets.





Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

Lead technical design workshops and provide architectural guidance to development teams.

Develop custom applications, workflows, Flow Designer solutions, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and REST/SOAP integrations where required.

Perform code reviews, architecture reviews, and ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices.

Mentor developers and administrators on ITAM implementation standards.

Support upgrades, platform enhancements, and production issues.

Required Skills

8+ years of overall IT experience.

5+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.

Experience with IntegrationHub, MID Server, REST APIs, SOAP APIs.

Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, ACLs, UI Policies, Client Scripts.

Experience integrating ServiceNow with SCCM, Microsoft Intune, JAMF, Active Directory, Azure, AWS, or other enterprise systems.

Knowledge of ITIL processes and CMDB governance.

Solid understanding of enterprise architecture and ITAM best practices.
