About the Role

We are a boutique digital marketing agency where SEO is the core discipline, not an add-on service. You will own organic growth for a portfolio of e-commerce and service-based clients across India, the GCC, and Europe. This is a hands-on role with ownership: you will set strategy, execute it, and be accountable for the numbers.

We are looking for someone who understands that search has changed. Ranking on Google is table stakes. Getting cited inside AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini is where the next wave of visibility is being won, and we want someone already working in that direction.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Execution

- Plan, execute, and own end-to-end SEO strategies for both e-commerce and service-based websites
- Conduct in-depth keyword research covering commercial, informational, and conversational query intent
- Execute on-page optimization, internal linking architecture, and off-page campaigns
- Perform technical SEO audits and drive fixes to completion with developers, including crawl budget, indexation, site speed, and Core Web Vitals

AI Search Visibility (AEO / GEO)

- Own visibility across AI search surfaces, not just traditional SERPs
- Structure content for answer extraction and LLM citation, including schema markup, entity clarity, and passage-level optimization
- Track brand and content citations in AI Overviews and LLM responses, and adjust content strategy based on what actually gets surfaced
- Test and adopt AI-driven SEO tools and automation to increase output without diluting quality

Content





- Build and scale SEO-optimized blog programs from topical mapping through to publication
- Write and review content briefs, and manage writers to maintain quality at volume
- Develop content strategies tied to funnel stage, not just search volume

Measurement & Reporting

- Build reporting that connects the full chain: ranking, traffic, conversion, and revenue
- Track and analyze performance across Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
- Prepare client-facing performance reports with clear, actionable recommendations rather than metric dumps
- Monitor and build quality backlinks that move authority and rankings, measured on impact rather than volume

Team & Collaboration

- Lead and mentor a small SEO team of 2 to 3 executives: delegate audits, briefs, and reporting, and review execution quality
- Support Google Ads campaigns with keyword research, negative keyword management, and search term analysis
- Stay ahead of algorithm updates and translate what they mean for client accounts

Requirements

Must have:

- 3+ years of proven SEO experience with a solid track record in e-commerce SEO
- Agency background with a portfolio of at least 5 client projects across both e-commerce and service businesses,

- Demonstrated ability to connect ranking improvements to revenue or pipeline outcomes. We want to see a case study with actual business impact, not traffic screenshots
- Hands-on experience optimizing for AI search surfaces (AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) with specific examples of what you changed and what resulted
- Experience leading or mentoring a team of 2 to 3 people on live client accounts
- Advanced working knowledge of SEMrush, Ahrefs, GA4, and Google Search Console
- Proven experience building and scaling SEO blog programs

Strong plus:

- Google Ads campaign experience
- Working knowledge of structured data implementation
- Comfort with AI tools and automation in the SEO workflow
- Experience with international or multi-market SEO
