Commenda is automating global entity management and compliance for multinationals and taking on the Big Four in a $200B/year market. We've raised $9M from Bling, Pelion, and UIF, and our customers include Razorpay, Pine Labs, MPL, and Remote.com.

The companies we serve are expanding internationally and discovering the same thing: there's no single solution for global compliance, just a maze of vendors, spreadsheets, and calendar reminders. We replace that mess with certainty. We operate out of Seattle, London, and Bangalore.

Why this role exists

Our buyer starts with a search.

"Set up a subsidiary in Singapore." "VAT registration threshold Germany." "Do I need a resident director in Australia." Every one of those is a finance lead at the exact moment the mess becomes their problem. It's the highest-intent traffic in our market, and it multiplies across every jurisdiction we serve.

We have the product coverage to be the definitive answer for a few thousand of those queries. Today we rank for a fraction of them.

The program here already works. Real rankings, real traffic, real pipeline every month. What it doesn't have is someone whose full attention it is. You'd inherit a foundation that's proven and a mandate to 10x it.

That's the job. You'll own it.

What you'll do The exact mix will shift as we grow. We're a startup, so you'll wear several hats. Broadly, you'll:

- Own all things SEO and AEO. Architecture, indexation, internal linking, structured data, hreflang, and sourcing high quality content.




- Run keyword research and find gaps and opportunities.
- Build authority through digital PR, partnerships, and data-led assets.
- Use Claude Code to ship the work yourself. Site changes, schema, bulk audits, scripts. You won't be filing tickets and waiting on an engineer.
- Report on pipeline, not rankings.

As you prove you can own these, the scope grows with you.

What we're looking for

- 3+ years in SEO, with time spent owning a site end to end rather than working one narrow slice of it. We care more about what you've actually run than the number of years.
- A real technical foundation. You can read a crawl report, diagnose why a page isn't indexing, and hold your own with an engineer about the fix.
- Experience at scale. Thousands of pages, ideally with international or multi-market targeting.
- A point of view on how AI search changes the discipline, and evidence you're already testing rather than waiting.
- B2B SaaS experience preferred. Finance, tax, legal, or accounting audiences are a robust plus.
- Based in Bangalore and able to work from our office.

Who you are High agency. You move on problems without being told.

You build with AI. You already use Claude or similar to make real things, fast.

Hands dirty. Messy audits, ugly data, thin pages, broken redirects. None of it is beneath you.
