Role Purpose Statement
The Senior Quality Assurance Lead operates with a high degree of autonomy, managing operational plans and large projects with limited oversight from management, leading and participating with comparable influence in large projects and initiatives, while providing leadership to professionals and support staff. Responsibilities include overseeing and leading a team of IT quality assurance professionals to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive testing strategies that align with business objectives and industry best practices. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software applications and IT solutions that meet the needs of the business.



A deep understanding of industry best practices, coupled with a proactive approach to process improvement and innovation, are essential for success.

Main Accountabilities
Leads and inspires a team of IT Quality Assurance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous learning. Provides clear direction, assigns tasks, sets performance expectations, and conducts regular performance evaluations. Mentors team members, providing guidance and support to enhance technical skills and career development. Designs, develops, and implements strategic quality assurance plans for complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements, industry standards, and best practices using test management tools like QTest / ALM.
