Job Overview
We are seeking a energetic and learner-focused Admissions Counsellor to drive enrolments for E&ICT; Academy, IIT Kanpur's educational offerings. The ideal candidate will proactively engage prospective learners, guide them towards the right courses, and ensure a high standard of service throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Engagement: Achieve daily communication targets by making outbound calls to assigned leads and ensuring consistent follow-ups.
Course Guidance: Understand student requirements and assist them in choosing the most suitable E&ICT; Academy courses or programs based on their goals and background.
Upselling & Cross-Selling: Identify and act on opportunities to recommend additional or alternative programs that add value to the learner's experience.
Process Adherence & Reporting: Maintain strict adherence to internal sales processes and submit timely and accurate activity reports.
Learner-Centric Approach: Provide exceptional service with a focus on understanding and fulfilling learners' expectations.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve escalations promptly to ensure high satisfaction and learner retention.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Customer-first mindset with a strong problem-solving attitude.
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
1–3 years of experience in EdTech counselling or consultative sales roles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to meet or exceed performance targets.
Familiarity with CRM tools and reporting systems (Leadsquared preferred).
