Role Responsibilities
The Manager – Solution Engineering is responsible for designing and delivering scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions across digital banking, wallets, cards, and payment platforms. This role provides technical leadership for solution delivery, collaborates closely with business and engineering teams, and ensures solutions align with architectural standards, operational requirements, and business objectives.
Solution Architecture & Design
Design end-to-end solutions for digital banking, wallet, card issuing/processing, and payment systems.
Contribute to cloud-native architectures on AWS, leveraging managed services to achieve scalability, resiliency, and security.
Design API-first and event-driven solutions supporting real-time and batch transaction processing.
Ensure appropriate separation of concerns across channels, orchestration, domain services, ledger, and settlement components.
Participate in architecture reviews and ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
Collaborate with product, engineering,



and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Banking & Payments Domain Expertise
Apply domain knowledge across:
Digital Banking platforms
Wallet and stored-value systems
Card issuing, authorization, clearing, and settlement
Domestic and cross-border payment systems
Support solution designs addressing funds availability, settlement, reconciliation, and accounting requirements.
Ensure solutions comply with regulatory, audit, and operational requirements.
Work with Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams to incorporate controls, traceability, and monitoring into solution designs.
Team Leadership & Delivery
Lead and mentor solution engineers, fostering engineering best practices and technical growth.
Drive technical execution across projects, ensuring quality, scalability, and maintainability.
