Role Description: The Senior Video Editor is a full-time, on-site role in Kochi, working under the Social Media Manager to handle fast-paced video editing for educational and promotional content. While the role includes basic camera shooting, lighting, and audio setup to capture campus events, interviews, and workshops, the main focus is turning raw footage into clean, high-quality videos very quickly. We need someone who can edit fast—including editing live event videos on the exact same day they happen.

The Video

Editor & Content Specialist will handle quick cutting, color grading, motion graphics, and text overlays, using modern AI tools effectively to speed up the editing process and deliver great work on tight deadlines. Working closely with media and the marketing team, this role turns simple ideas into engaging, high-energy videos.



Day-to-day tasks involve managing tight delivery schedules, executing same-day video edits, keeping project files organized, and building simple asset libraries.

Additionally, the role helps with creative planning by using AI features, picking fast-paced cutting styles, slick transitions, and modern storytelling ideas.

Requirements & Skills:

Fast Video Editing: Ability to edit videos quickly, including same-day delivery for live campus events and tight deadlines.

Creativity: A sharp eye for story structure, rhythm, visual pacing, and current design/social trends.

Good Videography: Hands-on experience with camera operation, lighting, and audio setup to shoot campus events, interviews, and workshops.

Color Grading: Strong skills in color correction and color grading to ensure a smooth, professional look across all videos.

Editing Software & AI: Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve, plus effective use of modern AI editing tools to speed up the workflow.

Graphics & Motion: Experience creating clean motion graphics, lower thirds, title cards, and text overlays.

Storytelling & Speed: Sharp storytelling skills with a solid eye for detail, visual pacing, and fast-turnaround content creation.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work smoothly under the Social Media Manager, coordinate with media and marketing teams, and keep project files organized.

Background: Experience in educational, corporate, or digital media content is a plus, along with a relevant degree or equivalent hands-on experience. How to Apply:
