As a Back-End Developer for IBM Z, you will design, develop, unit test, and deliver offerings for IBM Z, such as z/OS, using agile practices and DevOps tooling. You will work in a collaborative environment to understand requirements, design, code, debug, and test creative solutions to client problems and requirements.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Design and Develop Solutions: Design, develop, and unit test offerings for IBM Z, utilizing programming languages in C to deliver high-quality solutions.
Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work collaboratively to understand client requirements, design, code, debug, and test creative solutions to client problems and requirements, ensuring world-class quality and resiliency.
Ensure Solution Quality: Ensure solutions meet world-class quality and resiliency standards, supporting strategic imperatives including d cloud.
Agile Practices and DevOps Tooling: Utilize agile practices and DevOps tooling to deliver solutions efficiently and effectively.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
9+ years of relevant experience
Experience with the Software Development life cycle; coding, unit test, function or component test, system test and integration test
Demonstrated execution experience of Systems project development
- Strong programming skills in C
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting
- Ability to learn new tools quickly
- Good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a global team environment.
- Able to lead and guide a team of lesser experienced professionals
Preferred Technical and Skilled Experience:
