Job Overview:
As the Engineer 1, Cloud Support Engineer, you are a hands-on entry-level cloud operations engineer in the Support team within LPL's Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE) — the run-the-cloud function for LPL's AWS multi-account landing zone. Under close guidance from senior engineers, AVPs, and the VP, Support, you triage inbound tickets from application teams across Jira and ServiceNow, execute runbooks, fulfill well-scoped account / IAM / access requests, and act as a supported first-line responder in the 24x7 on-call rotation. You partner with the Monitoring pod within Foundations on alerting and runbooks, and you escalate cleanly to Engine
