The KYC Operations Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level skilled responsible for executing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, and regulatory reporting activities. This role is integral to the development and management of Citi's internal Know Your Client (KYC) program. The ideal candidate will apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow. Operating with a high degree of independence, this individual will ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, safeguarding the firm's reputation and assets. KYC Block Prevention & Closure team is responsible for proactively reviewing, auditing, and managing KYC records to prevent customer account restrictions, blocks, and closures resulting from incomplete KYC requirements. The role focuses on identifying process gaps, driving timely remediation, reviewing extension requests, supporting account closure activities,



and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal KYC standards while delivering an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities:
Conduct reviews of client account activity, statements, internet research, and client profile information
Conduct background checks/intelligence/customer research/transactional analysis
Conduct regulatory and sanction screenings as well as review domestic consumer cases and support complex periodic review processes
Partner with internal units to ensure adequate due diligence process is carried out for customer accounts and documentation reviews
Verify and confirm banker ownership of KYC Records to ensure continuous flow of information
Ensure all information and documentation comply with local regulation and Citi standards
Perform independent, in-depth KYC due diligence for new and existing clients, ensuring full compliance with the Bank’s AML/KYC standards and all relevant local and global regulations.
Act as a critical review point for KYC
