Minimum Experience

JOB PURPOSE
The State Coordinator leads state-level coordination, government liaison, and MOU management for the organisation's child protection programme. The role provides guidance and support to District Programme Officers (DPOs), builds and sustains working relationships with state government departments and law enforcement agencies, and drives convergence among stakeholders working on the prevention, protection, and rehabilitation of children affected by Child Labour (CL), Child Trafficking (CT), Child Marriage (CM), and Child Sexual Abuse (CSA).
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS (KRA)
1. Coordination & Administration Support to Child Right Associates (CRAs)
• Provide guidance, support,
and facilitation to Child Right Associates (CRAs) across the state's ADP districts.
• Facilitate administrative and operational support to DPOs for district-level programme implementation, in alignment with state policies, for smooth engagement and execution with the District Administration.
• Identify valuable practices at the district level and support their replication across the state.
• Coordinate with other NGOs operating in the child protection space within the state.
2. Networking with Government
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with state government officials, ensuring alignment with policy priorities.
• Act as liaison between the organisation and government departments, securing necessary approvals and support for projects.
