Associate Manager, Financial Accounting and Control
Position Summary

The main responsibilities of this role will be preparing, developing, and analyzing financial information so that the London Stock Exchange Group’s senior management can make well-informed decisions, leading to future stability, growth, and profitability. The role focuses on core accounting skills, working across different business divisions in order to support the whole organization.

The selected candidate for this role will be responsible in achieving organizational objectives for the function, Key Performance Indicator’s and will be reporting to the Assistant Manager, Financial Reporting and Control.

Role Responsibilities
Preparation of month-end accounts close and review processes to ensure accuracy of P&L; and Balance Sheet, and adherence to all Group reporting deadlines.
Responsible for onboarding of additional scope and aligning the process according to the TOM.
Ensure that the team meet tight reporting deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.




Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations and substantiations.
Support the external audit process for companies within scope including liaising with the external auditors to address their questions and requests (CAS).
Adherence to internal controls as per group policies and the financial control framework.
Support Group projects and ensure detailed implementation of any new systems and processes.
Work collaboratively in identification and support of continuous improvement activities.
The role will be encouraged to partner with Entity Accountants, Financial Controllers, Group Reporting, and Statutory Reporting teams and be a key member of the Finance CoE.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Having a professional accounting degree with minimum 4 years of experience in General Accounting.
Robust track record in processing core accounting transactions and consolidations to ensure balances are accurately reflected in the general l
