What You Will Do *
Develop manufacturing process plans and should-cost models for machined, sheet metal, forged,
and cast components using engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.;
Evaluate manufacturability, production methods, tooling, cycle times, and process selection to optimize cost, quality, and manufacturability.
Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), PFMEAs, Manufacturing Routers, SOPs, and Work Instructions.
Configure and maintain manufacturing data in SAP and MES (e.g., Solumina), including routers, work centers, and process parameters.
Analyze supplier quotations, validate tooling and NRE costs, and support sourcing and supplier development activities.
Build and maintain manufacturing cost models, labor standards, work center rates, and cost databases.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI), Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Cost (DFC), Value Engineering (VE), and continuous improvement initiatives.
