AWS Senior Solutions Architect Position: Senior Solutions Architect – AWS Cloud

Experience: 6-8 Years

Location: Mumbai

Role Summary We are looking for an experienced AWS Senior Solutions Architect to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions on AWS. The candidate will work closely with customers, pre-sales teams, project managers, and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and architect AWS cloud solutions based on business and technical requirements.
- Lead cloud migration, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Develop high-level and low-level architecture documents (HLD/LLD).
- Conduct cloud assessments, discovery workshops, and solution presentations.
- Design highly available, scalable, and disaster recovery architectures.
- Implement AWS security best practices, governance, and compliance controls.
- Provide technical leadership during project delivery and customer engagements.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with networking, security, application, and DevOps teams.
- Support pre-sales activities including solution design, proposal preparation, effort estimation, and technical presentations.
- Mentor cloud engineers and architects.

- Disaster Recovery and Backup Solutions
- Hybrid Cloud Architectures
- Cost Optimization and FinOps
- Experience with migration tools such as:
- AWS Application Migration Service (MGN)
- AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery (DRS)
- Database Migration Service (DMS)
- Good on Linux administration

Preferred Certifications

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Skilled
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology

Good to Have

- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- O-premises data centre infrastructure, including compute, storage, virtualization, networking, and security. Experience in enterprise data center.
- Strong customer-facing and pre-sales consulting experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
