We're looking for an experienced Senior C++ Software Engineer to join our Industrial Automation & Pharmaceutical Packaging team.This is an exciting opportunity to develop software that controls and integrates industrial machinery, PLCs, machine vision systems, scanners, printers and packaging equipment, while helping modernise and unify our software platform.

Role - Senior C++ / Qt Software Engineer – Industrial Automation & Vision Systems

Location: Mumbai - Hybrid

Experience: 5–10 Years

Employment Type: Contract

Roles & Responsibilities -

Develop industrial automation software using C++17 and Qt 6

Design and maintain integrations with PLCs, cameras, scanners and other industrial devices

Refactor legacy applications into scalable, maintainable solutions

Drive software architecture improvements using modern design principles

Build reliable Windows Services for 24/7 production environments

Develop machine vision solutions using OpenCV

Work closely with automation,



electrical and mechanical engineering teams

Key Skills

5+ years' experience with Modern C++ (C++17) and Qt

Robust knowledge of OOP, SOLID, Design Patterns and Clean Architecture

Experience with multithreading and Windows application development

Hardware integration (PLCs, industrial devices, TCP/IP, Serial)

Git and software engineering best practices

Desirable

Industrial Automation or Manufacturing software

OpenCV / Machine Vision

PLC integration

MQTT

Pharmaceutical packaging, Track & Trace or GMP/GAMP environments
