About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer Python to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and distributed systems. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in Python development, hands-on experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS cloud services, and a solid understanding of modern CI/CD practices and application observability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
- Build and support event-driven microservices leveraging Apache Kafka.
- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on Kubernetes.
- Work with AWS services such as DynamoDB and other commonly used cloud services.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Serverless Framework.
- Participate in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Monitor application health, performance, and reliability using observability tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to system design discussions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements.
- Follow engineering best practices, coding standards,



and secure development principles.

Required Skills :

- 7 to 10 years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python.
- Experience working with Apache Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s).
- Good understanding of AWS services, particularly DynamoDB and cloud-native application deployment.
- Experience provisioning AWS resources using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Serverless Framework.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus, New Relic, or PagerDuty.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Good problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Golang.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or similar coding assistants.
- Knowledge of containerization using Docker.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced product engineering environments.
- Ability to understand deployment workflows without requiring extensive guidance.
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication skills.
