Position Summary The Senior ServiceMax Developer designs, develops, enhances, and supports custom solutions within the ServiceMax and Salesforce platforms. This role is responsible for delivering scalable technical solutions, building integrations with enterprise systems, and collaborating with administrators and business stakeholders to improve field service capabilities.

The successful candidate combines strong Salesforce development expertise with ServiceMax implementation experience and a passion for delivering maintainable, high-quality software solutions.

Essential Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ServiceMax and Salesforce solutions.
- Build and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce pages (where required), and platform integrations.
- Develop scalable integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Participate in technical design sessions and solution architecture discussions.
- Perform code reviews and promote development best practices.
- Develop automated unit tests and maintain high code quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues through root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with administrators to determine whether business requirements should be addressed through configuration or custom development.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Produce technical documentation and development standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and backlog refinement.
- Support application upgrades and release activities.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.





Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent skilled experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of Salesforce development experience.
- Minimum 2 years developing solutions within the ServiceMax platform.
- Strong proficiency in Apex.
- Experience developing Lightning Web Components.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security and governor limits.
- Experience with SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce data architecture.
- Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
- Experience using Git or other source control systems.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
- Experience with ServiceMax Work Orders, Installed Products, Preventive Maintenance, Contracts, Inventory, and Mobile.
- Experience integrating ERP, CRM, and enterprise applications.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica.
- Familiarity with Agile software delivery methodologies.
