The KYC Operations Manager is an intermediate management-level position responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team providing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, and oversight. The core objective is to manage and develop a dedicated internal Know Your Client (KYC) program, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and policy standards. This role is integral to the firm's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, and regulatory reporting framework. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert who operates with a high degree of autonomy, drives process improvements, and ensures the firm's adherence to the highest standards of compliance and ethical conduct. KYC Block Prevention & Closure team is responsible for proactively reviewing, auditing, and managing KYC records to prevent customer account restrictions, blocks, and closures resulting from incomplete KYC requirements. The role focuses on identifying process gaps, driving timely remediation, reviewing extension requests, supporting account closure activities,



and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal KYC standards while delivering an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead KYC operations, including executing processes in accordance with Citi compliance policies and overseeing the KYC control setting
Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting: Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders to manage exceptions and produce detailed Management Information System (MIS) reports.
Process and Transformation Leadership: Lead and manage key projects, including the development of project plans, execution of risk analyses, and delivery of weekly progress updates to senior management. Drive transformation initiatives aimed at re-engineering and optimizing KYC processes.
