What’s the role
The SEAM organization integrates Safety, Workplace, and Asset Management to support Shell’s businesses and assets globally. Within SEAM, Technical Asset Support (TAS) enables accelerated delivery of the Shell Performance Framework across C+P, IGRES, and Upstream. TAS provides high quality, cost competitive technical expertise embedded within asset teams and operates from Chennai, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, and Krakow.
TAS is now embarking on the next chapter in its journey – the aspiration to be a ‘World Class Delivery Engine’ (WCDE) over the next three years (2026-28). Data Centricity and Digital Technologies are going to play a key enabling role. Technical Reporting and Digital Integration (TRDI) is Shell’s Technical Reporting hub across the Asset Management system and a Digital Accelerator for TAS Transformation Initiatives.
The Digitalization Specialist will be part of the Excellence Team at TRDI and work with Digitalization Leads across TAS to execute TAS Digital Strategy delivering AI enabled workflows and cross business insights. You will apply techniques such as business intelligence (BI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), reporting and data modelling, analytical techniques and big data processing to provide the business with relevant information to increase revenues, improve operational efficiency, optimize customer programs, respond quickly to emerging market trends and gain a competitive edge in the market.
What you’ll be doing
Technical Leadership:
The role supports the TAS Digital Strategy through automation, scalable integrations and reusable components in alignment with Asset Digital Road Map, Data Lake strategy, Data Quality Standards and SEAM for SEAM Governance.
Help evaluate data by leveraging Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence techniques
