Job Requirements
The Lighting Design Manager will be responsible for developing innovative, functional, and energy-effective lighting solutions across residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments. The role involves managing lighting design from concept through execution while ensuring alignment with architectural intent, technical standards, sustainability goals, and project budgets.
Key Responsibilities

Develop lighting concepts, layouts, and specifications for architectural, interior, façade, landscape, and common area lighting.
Prepare lighting calculations, fixture schedules, BOQs, and technical documentation using DIALux/AGi32 and AutoCAD.
Coordinate with Architecture, Interior Design, MEP, Landscape, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure seamless design integration.
Review and approve lighting shop drawings, mock-ups, material submissions, and site installations.
Evaluate lighting products and vendors, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with project requirements.
Drive value engineering initiatives without compromising design intent or performance.




Ensure compliance with NBC, ECBC, relevant IS Codes, and sustainability standards (IGBC/LEED).
Conduct site inspections, resolve execution issues, and support testing and commissioning.

Work Experience
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is Mandatory, Masters preferred
Certification or specialization in Lighting Design is preferred.
8–12 years of experience in architectural lighting design, preferably within the real estate
