Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager Operations to lead our Blocks and Closure team. This role is crucial in managing critical processes related to account restrictions, freezes, and closures, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency within our banking operations. This role is a senior management-level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department to provide Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight, and regulatory reporting services in coordination with the Compliance and Control team. The overall objective of this role is to drive the development and management of a dedicated internal KYC (Know Your Client) program at Citi. This role is for a seasoned professional with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Requires positive analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.

Responsibilities:
Provide senior oversight of KYC Operations teams, Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Blocks and Closure team, including account restrictions, holds, and final account closures.
Serve as a key contributor to the Global KYC strategy, partnering with global management to design and implement a target operating model across people, process, and technology.
Represent the KYC function in senior management discussions and key stakeholder meetings across business, compliance, and operations, fostering strong cross-functional relationships.
Ensure robust governance of all tasks and processes, driving compliance with internal AML/KYC policies and external laws and regulations.
