Accountabilities:
The Manager,



Critical Risk Assurance will be responsible for driving critical risk identification, control assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives across operational, project, and maintenance activities. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to translate safety insights into practical improvements.
Identify operational, project, and maintenance-related hazards, unwanted events, and potentially severe consequences across business activities.
Assess critical controls, evaluate their reliability, and define assurance activities required to verify effectiveness.
Conduct and support deep-dive reviews with operational teams to confirm the implementation and effectiveness of critical controls.
Analyze incidents and high-potential near misses to extract lessons, update risk assessments, and improve operational practices.
