ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Indirect Tax Compliance
GST Compliance: Prepare and file Goods and Services Tax returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns (GSTR-9/9C)
ITC Reconciliation: Match purchase books with the GSTR-2B portal data to claim valid input tax credits and resolve mismatches.
Refunds and Litigation: File refund claims for exports or inverted duty structures,



and draft responses to tax department notices or audits.
Other activities related to GST Assessments, Notices, scrutiny etc.
ERP Maintenance: Update and review invoice data and tax codes in accounting software like SAP
Bookkeeping & Accounting: Maintain daily transaction entries, general ledgers, and manage petty cash using software like Tally Prime or SAP
Audit & Reporting: Assist internal and external auditors, compile financial statements, and support month-end/year-end closing procedures
Data Management: Collect, clean, and validate daily logs, transactions, and performance metrics from internal software or department heads.
Report Generation: Build and deliver accurate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports, trackers, and summaries.
Improve processes by identifying efficiencies in preparation and information gathering procedures
Ensure that work product is timely, self-reviewed, and meets the needs of the end user
