SAP Basis Administrator

About the Role

We're looking for an SAP Basis Administrator to oversee the administration and technical support of our SAP environment.

This role is responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems, ensuring their availability, reliability, and performance, while collaborating with technology and business teams on SAP projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- System Administration: Manage and support the SAP landscape, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of SAP systems (ERP, TM, EM, etc.) operating in a cloud (AWS) environment.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and implement tuning measures to ensure optimal operation and response times.
- Upgrades and Patch Management: Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, patches, and enhancement packs to keep the environment current and secure.
- Security Management: Implement and maintain SAP security policies, including user administration, role assignments, and compliance with data security standards.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures, ensuring regular backups and recovery testing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other technology teams (network, database, application) and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and support of SAP systems.




- Project Management: Lead and participate in SAP-related projects, providing technical expertise and ensuring timely delivery.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with SAP and third-party vendors for support, licensing, and procurement activities.

What We're Looking For

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. SAP certification is a plus.

Experience:

- 8–10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.

Technical Skills:

- Proficient in SAP system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, SAP Fiori, and other SAP technologies.
- Experience with database administration (SQL Server, HANA).
- Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix).
- Knowledge of SAP security and authorization concepts.

Additional Requirements:
