Scope:
The SQL Server Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise-scale SQL Server environments, with a solid focus on Azure SQL Database.
The role encompasses end-to-end database administration, including design, security, performance optimization, and support of large-scale production workloads in the cloud.
The candidate will play a key role in strategic planning and architectural decision-making while driving automation, modernization, and compliance initiatives.
Additionally, this role involves providing leadership, mentoring, and guidance to the DBA team to establish and maintain best practices across hybrid database platforms.

Performance Tuning & Optimization (Advanced):



Skilled in analyzing and optimizing queries and database structures for peak performance.
Security Management (Advanced): Proficient in implementing security protocols to protect data integrity and privacy.
Backup & Recovery (Advanced): Experienced in developing and executing reliable backup and recovery strategies.
High Availability & Disaster Recovery (Advanced): Capable of ensuring database availability through solutions like Always On and replication.
Azure SQL Management (Advanced): Competent in managing Azure SQL Databases and leveraging Azure services for enhanced operations.
Automation & Scripting (Proficient): Utilizes PowerShell and T-SQL to automate routine database tasks and processes.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting (Advanced): Adept at setting up monitoring systems and resolving database issues efficiently.
