Overview:
In this role, the Lead Engineer will actively participate in design, development,



improvement and/or sustenance of Aircraft Safety Systems (Evacuation and/or Oxygen Systems) and its components. Provides onsite technical support to operations in Bengaluru. Collaborates with Engineering and Operations cross functional teams in India, USA and Germany.
Primary Responsibilities:
Participate in Engineering Change Management Process – Teamcenter / SAP.
Investigates pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replaceability, strength-weight efficiency, contractual specification requirements, regulatory requirements, and cost.
Ability to read, understand and create technical drawings, sketches.
Create 2D pattern drawing by extracting surface data from 3D models.
Working knowledge on CAD application – CREO 2.0 or above and/or NX.
Proficiency in CAD software (2D) – AutoCAD, keycreator and other CAD (3D) – Catia is desired.
Experience on CI – Lean and/or 6 sigma / Root Cause Ana
