General Summary

Job Description

Develop, maintain, and enhance automation tools and infrastructure supporting ASIC Front-End design flows.
Analyze existing design workflows and propose solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and usability.
Implement software-based solutions using Python, Perl, C++, or similar programming languages.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in CAD tools, scripts, and automation frameworks.
Collaborate with design and CAD teams to understand requirements and deliver effective automation solutions.
Support internal customers by enabling adoption of existing and newly developed tools.
Contribute to documentation, tool validation, and continuous improvement of engineering methodologies.
Explore and evaluate AI/ML-based approaches to enhance EDA tools and front-end design productivity.

Educational Qualification Requirement

Must hold a B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree in Electronics/VLSI stream.

Required Skills





0-1 year of experience in CAD/EDA automation, software development, or RTL design.
Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), Perl, C++, or similar languages.
Good understanding of software development fundamentals, debugging, and problem-solving techniques.
Ability to analyze requirements and design practical software solutions.
Experience working in Linux/Unix environments and scripting is a plus.
Robust analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Basic understanding of ASIC Front-End design flow and RTL concepts is desirable.
Exposure to AI/ML concepts and their application in engineering workflows is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
