Job Title: Biological strategy and Business Development lead- South Asia

Location: Hyderabad

We are seeking a energetic and experienced Biologicals Strategy & Business Development Lead to join our South Asia Biologicals business. This role will drive strategic growth of the portfolio by defining where to play and how to win, while accelerating scale through partnerships, licensing, and inorganic opportunities.

The role will own end-to-end lifecycle of biological products from sourcing and portfolio shaping to market launch and post-launch optimization, requiring strong expertise in product management, business development, and a deep understanding of biologicals, market dynamics, and customer needs.

Responsibility

Strategy & Portfolio Direction

Define long-term biologicals strategy aligned to regional and global strategy.
Drive portfolio choices: Focused, differentiated, growth driven and margin accretive.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, including pricing, promotion, and distribution plans.




Identify white spaces and build integrated CP + Biological solutions.

Business Development & Partnerships

Lead external scouting for partnerships, licensing, and M&A; opportunities if any.
Evaluate strategic fit across technology, market access, and capabilities.
Build and manage strategic alliances.

Market & Competitive Intelligence

Track industry trends, regulatory evolution, and competitor move.
Identify growth levers across key crops and geographies.
Translate insights into actionable growth strategies.

Cross-functional Leadership

Align R&D;, regulatory, marketing, and commercial teams on strategic initiatives.
Drive execution discipline across pipeline, launch, and partnerships.
Enable organization capability building (agronomy, digital, partnership focus).

Growth Acceleration
