About the Project
We are establishing a new business activity focused on service robots and specialized robotic applications for the European and international markets.
Our strategy is to use reliable, commercially available robotic platforms and enhance their functionality through additional software, system integration and application-specific development.
The initial projects will include:
- integration of service robots with elevators;
- communication with automatic doors, access-control and building-management systems;
- development of customised applications for hotels, hospitals, offices, residential buildings and other professional environments;
- integration of robots with external software platforms, cloud systems and mobile applications;
- testing and further development of OrionStar and other service-robot platforms.
We are looking for a Senior Robotics Software & Integration Engineer in India who can take a leading technical role in the development and testing of these applications.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate applications for service robots.
- Work with robot manufacturers’ SDKs and APIs.
- Develop communication between robots and elevator-control systems.
- Integrate robots with automatic doors, access-control systems, sensors and building-management platforms.
- Develop reliable communication through REST APIs, MQTT, Modbus, TCP/IP, WebSockets, CAN or similar protocols.
- Install and test applications on Android-based robotic platforms.
- Develop error-detection, recovery and fail-safe communication procedures.
- Participate in practical testing using actual robots and elevator systems.
- Prepare technical documentation and testing reports.
- Coordinate with robot manufacturers, elevator engineers and external software developers.
- Support the future commercialisation and deployment of the developed solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or a related field.
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Robust knowledge of Android development using Java or Kotlin.
- Experience in API and SDK integration.
- Experience with communication protocols such as MQTT, Modbus, TCP/IP, REST or WebSockets.
- Knowledge of Python, C++ or Java.
- Experience with Linux and Git.
- Experience with service robots, mobile robots, AMRs, IoT systems or industrial automation.
- Ability to understand technical communication protocols and integrate independent systems.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for technical results.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ROS or ROS 2.
- Experience with OrionStar, Keenon, Pudu or other service-robot platforms.
- Knowledge of elevator systems, building automation or access-control systems.
- Experience with CAN, CANopen or embedded gateways.
- Experience with cloud platforms and remote-monitoring systems.
- Previous involvement in prototype development and field testing.
