Girick Infrastructure Private Limited is looking for an innovative, technically strong, and execution-oriented Project Engineer – Shipbuilding to support and manage shipbuilding and marine engineering projects.
The candidate will be responsible for coordinating site activities, supervising fabrication and installation works, managing manpower and resources, ensuring quality and safety standards, and supporting timely project execution. Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise day-to-day shipbuilding project activities.
Manage hull fabrication, structural fabrication, piping, equipment installation, and marine outfitting works.
Interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with supervisors, welders, fitters, fabricators, riggers, subcontractors, and client representatives.
Monitor project progress against planned schedules and milestones.
Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
Coordinate material requirements and ensure availability at the worksite.
Conduct inspections and coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure workmanship meets project specifications.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, work permits, PPE, and site safety procedures.
Identify technical and execution challenges and develop practical solutions.
Prepare daily progress reports, work reports, material reports, and other project documentation.
Coordinate with project management and client teams for smooth execution.
Support testing, commissioning, inspection,
and project handover activities.
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce rework, and optimize project execution.

B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
