Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience: 12+ years of software engineering experience with at least 4+ years as a Solution Architect, Principal Engineer, or Technical Architect delivering enterprise Retail and eCommerce solutions.

Technical Expertise

Retail & eCommerce

Strong understanding of Omnichannel Retail architecture and business processes.

Experience with Commerce Platforms such as Shopify, VTEX, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce (Magento), or similar.

Experience integrating OMS, PIM, ERP, CRM, WMS, Payment Gateways, Loyalty, Tax, Search, and Shipping platforms.

Robust understanding of Catalog, Pricing, Promotions, Inventory, Checkout, Order Management, Fulfilment, Customer, and Returns domains.

Frontend

ReactJS, Next.js, modern UI architecture and Headless Commerce.

Backend

Node.js, Express.js, AWS Lambda, Serverless Architecture, Microservices.

Languages

TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+).

Architecture

Microservices Architecture.





Event-Driven Architecture.

Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

API-First Architecture.

Distributed Systems.

Integration Patterns.

APIs

GraphQL, RESTful APIs.

Testing

Jest, unit testing, integration testing, contract testing, and automated testing frameworks.

CI/CD & Tools

Experience with Headless Commerce architecture.

Experience building scalable enterprise integration solutions.

Familiarity with Kafka, EventBridge, or other messaging/event streaming platforms.

Experience implementing DevSecOps and Infrastructure as Code.

Strong knowledge of application security, OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and security best practices.

Experience with observability platform
