For our Salem campus (grades 5–10), we are looking for teaching and boarding school assistants (m/f/d) to start on February 1 or September 1, particularly those with experience in foreign languages and/or mathematics and science subjects.

The position is particularly suitable for teacher training students before they begin their teaching internship, as well as for social education workers. The positions are normally limited to half a school year, but an extension may be possible.

You will supervise daily study halls (homework sessions) and assist students with their academic progress.
Commitment: You will take on four weekend duties per semester and may contribute to other areas of boarding life, such as private tutoring.

Education And Qualifications

Academic Background: You hold a Bachelor’s degree, the First State Examination, or an equivalent diploma in one or more relevant teaching subjects.
Passion for Education: You have a solid interest in working intensively with students within a progressive (reformist) boarding school environment.
Resilience: You are flexible, reliable, and capable of handling the dynamic demands of boarding school life.
Languages & Licensing: Proficiency in German (suitable for classroom environments), conversational English, and a valid Class B driver's license are required.
