Role Description The Senior Accountant role at Numetix is a full-time, remote position responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting activities for a portfolio of professional service firm clients. Day-to-day tasks include managing general ledger entries, reconciling accounts, preparing month-end and year-end closes, and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting.



The Senior Accountant will review AI-generated accounting outputs, validate data quality, and adjust entries as needed to maintain compliance with accounting standards. The role also involves implementing new systems/processes, analyzing client financial performance, identifying trends in margins and cash flow, and preparing insights that support advisory discussions. This position collaborates closely with internal finance operators and client stakeholders, responds to accounting inquiries, and helps enhance processes and controls that improve efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications
Strong general accounting and financial reporting skills, including experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and GAAP-based statements.
Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and cash flow management to interpret data and support advisory recommendations. Carry an advisor hat when needed.
