This is a remote position.

$20-35 an hour

This position reports to the Board of Directors at DripWorks and will be playing a pivotal role in the strategic direction of the company’s new line of business catering to landscape contractors. The main purpose of this job is to study the market for landscape lighting and irrigation products, which contractors use, conduct contractor interviews, understand the market offerings of products and price offerings (summarize – Voice of customer) into actionable product offerings which DripWorks can provide

Successful candidates must be a self-starter possessing a broad base of analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, superior organizational skills as well as the ability to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment. This role requires demonstrated organizational skills; successful candidates will also have strong communication skills, be highly collaborative, and have proven elicitation and facilitation skills in addition to robust documentation skills.



The ideal candidate will be highly organizational and proactive in improving the efficiency and performance of processes.

Conduct primary and secondary research on markets and categories (e.g., size, forces, trends, dynamics, key players, etc.), industry value chains and business processes, customer pain points, and core capabilities of landscaping market
Develop an understanding of the needs of the landscaping contractor (tier 2 and tier 3) needs in the US
Conduct in person, over the phone surveys
Be Voice of Customer and provide actionable insights to prepare product offering and recommend market entry strategy
Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will play a critical role in uncovering and steering the strategic director of DripWorks
Conduct competitive trend and industry research to inform the company of current marketing strategies

Requirements

Education & Experience

Ideally a master’s candidate (MBA preferred) at a top school
