About the role: We are seeking a Product Manager to own the production-grade development of our Student Management System (SMS). You will translate complex academic workflows— admissions, scheduling, attendance, examinations, results, certificates, internships, question bank, and more—into a robust, modular, scalable product used across higher education and medical institutions.

This role is ideal for someone who understands academic administration, compliance requirements (UGC/NMC/DPDPA), and can work across design, engineering, operations, and client institutions to drive a high-quality release. Responsibilities:

 Own end-to-end development of the Student Management System (SMS) and drive it from prototype to scalable production product.

 Translate academic workflows into detailed product specifications across key modules.

 Work closely with academic administrators, faculty, examination controllers,



and students to capture real-world needs and ensure robust product–market fit.

 Define roadmap priorities, balancing new modules, scalability improvements, and compliance needs.

 Collaborate with engineering to drive architecture decisions for modularity, interoperability, and performance.

 Develop documents and flows for APIs and integrations with ERPs, LMS platforms, attendance devices, MCC/NEET data sources, digital signature services, and identity/auth systems.

 Ensure product alignment with DPDPA, academic audit needs, versioned document storage, role-based access control, and activity tracking.

 Define KPIs for adoption, workflow completion rates, automation impact, and student experience improvements.

 Prepare PRDs, user stories, wireframes, release notes, and training guides.

 Lead pilots, manage UAT cycles, collect feedback, and refine product releases.

 Support GTM planning for scaling the product across institutions.

Qualifications:

 6-10 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in EdTech, Academic ERP or workflow-heavy enterprise SaaS.

 Strong experience writing PRDs, BRDs, user stories, and mapping complex workflows.

 Exposure to higher education workflows (medical education is a plus).

 Experience with workflow automation, document generation, role-based access, or multi-module systems.

 Ability to work with engineering on architecture decisions, API design, and modular product structures.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias for practical, scalable solutions.

 Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Education Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
