- Develop and manage master schedules that detail all construction phases, from excavation to handover, using project management software like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the baseline plan, and propose corrective actions to keep construction on track.
- Allocate and optimize resourcessuch as manpower, materials, and equipmentto maximize efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.
- Conduct critical path analysis and risk assessments, highlighting potential delays and planning mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring all activities are integrated into the overall schedule and goals remain aligned.
- Prepare progress and deviation reports for stakeholders,
supporting decision-making at management levels.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is usually mandatory.
- Proficiency in scheduling and planning tools, especially Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, and Excel.
- Robust analytical abilities for performing time-impact and critical path analyses.
- In-depth understanding of high-rise construction techniques, sequencing, and logistics.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for dealing with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Five or more years of relevant experience in high-rise or complex building projects is often preferred.
