Responsible for processing and reviewing on payrolls located in UK. The Payroll Specialist will also be responsible for contributing to payroll related projects, providing timely and accurate payroll reporting and data to the business as required.
Specific Role Responsibilities
- Review of end-to-end UK Payroll.
- Ensure adherence to all federal, UK tax and labour laws, plus company policies.
- Proven experience with multi-jurisdictional payroll (EU, US & Canada).
- Work in partnership with the People teams to ensure smooth running of payrolls
- Keep up to date with relevant legislation changes and ensure compliance across all payroll locations
- Collect, verify, and maintain accurate employee payroll records, including earnings, deductions, and timekeeping data.
- Knowledge of payroll taxes, garnishments, benefits,
and retirement contributions.
Experience Required
- Experience with running end to end UK payrolls
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Cloud Pay, Workday)
- Experience with using outsourced providers
- Sound knowledge of relevant payroll legislation
- Expertise in payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance.
