We're the team behind TARA — an AI engine that analyzes completed employee-manager review transcripts to detect 14+ cognitive and behavioral bias patterns, giving leaders transparent, defensible reviews without replacing HR judgment.

We're looking for a Data Science & AI Engineering Intern to work directly on TARA's bias-detection pipeline and our broader AI stack.
What you'll do:
? Assist in data preprocessing, model experimentation, and evaluation for TARA
? Contribute to AI-driven product features and RAG pipelines
? Support research on bias detection and performance analytics
? Turn KPI and usage data into decision-systems teams actually trust
? Work with MongoDB, AWS, and contribute to React/Node components
What we're looking for:




? Strong Python — Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn
? Hands-on experience with RAG and current AI tooling
? Working familiarity with MongoDB and AWS
? Basic working knowledge of React and Node
? Logical thinking and genuine curiosity for ambiguous problems
? Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in CS/Engineering/IT or equivalent practical experience — strong project/GitHub portfolio counts
? Transparent written communication — remote, distributed team, async-first
Program structure: 9-month cohort in 3 equal phases — 3 months training, 3 months fixed responsibilities, 3 months higher-reward. Exceptional performers get promoted early. Stipend details shared at offer stage. Step away after training and you still walk away with a completion certificate.
