Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
6–10 years of hands-on test automation experience for web applications.
Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright with Python automation testing; exposure to Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Selenium, and TestNG is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright and Python.
Implement framework patterns such as Page Object Model, data-driven testing, modular design, fixtures, reusable utilities, and parallel execution.
Plan and execute automation coverage for smoke, regression, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and enable rapid, reliable release feedback.
Create robust cross-browser and cross-platform automation coverage using Playwright capabilities.
Develop API automation using Playwright API testing, Python requests, Pytest, or related tools.
Conduct root cause analysis for failures, reduce flaky tests, and improve test reliability.
Perform code reviews and enforce coding, automation, reporting, and test design standards.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, DevOps, and QA teams in Agile delivery models.
Manage and triage defects using JIRA and provide clear automation reports and release readiness metrics.
