Role Description This is a full-time, in office Laptop Technician Chip Level role based in Tumkur. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing laptops at the chip level, including work on motherboards, power circuits, and other electronic components.



The technician will perform component-level soldering and de-soldering, replace faulty ICs and connectors, and ensure thorough testing of devices after repair. Daily responsibilities include handling service tickets, documenting work performed, maintaining tools and equipment, and coordinating with the service team to meet turnaround times and quality standards. The role may also include providing technical guidance to colleagues, supporting inventory of spare parts, and following safety and ESD (electrostatic discharge) procedures.
Qualifications

Strong chip-level troubleshooting skills for laptops, including diagnosis of motherboard, power, and charging circuit issues.
Proficiency in soldering, de-soldering, and component replacement (ICs, connectors, SMD components) using appropriate tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, service manuals, and use diagnostic tools such as multimet
