Role Purpose:

The Finance & Commercial Head will serve as the strategic finance and commercial leader for DevCo, responsible for driving profitability, maximizing enterprise value, ensuring financial governance, and providing commercial leadership. The role will partner closely with functional leaders to support business growth, optimize asset monetization, enhance financial performance, manage treasury and taxation, and ensure robust commercial controls within the SAP S/4HANA setting.
The incumbent will be accountable for safeguarding financial interests while enabling business decisions that enhance shareholder value and sustainable profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Control
Lead annual business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial strategy.
Establish robust budgetary controls and monitor financial performance against approved plans.
Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising business objectives.
Ensure timely financial reviews and corrective actions to achieve targeted profitability.

Commercial Strategy & Governance
Define and implement commercial frameworks, approval matrices, and authority structures within SAP S/4HANA.
Establish commercial norms, contractual terms, and governance mechanisms for development and asset sales.
Ensure compliance with Delegation of Authority (DOA/DAP) requirements and commercial approval processes.

3. . Strategic Transactions & Investment Evaluation
Lead financial evaluation and execution support for:
SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) sales and acquisitions.
Share Purchase Agreements (SPA).
Share Pledge structures and transactions.
Business restructuring and strategic investments.
Valuation of renewable energy and power sector companies.
Coordinate with legal, tax, lenders, investors, and advisors during transactions.
