WSP is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with experience in Water retaining structures. The successful candidate will be experienced in detailed design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, with specific experience in pipeline, pump station and treatment plants.
The candidate shall be responsible for the development and execution of structural designs from concept design to detail design, ensuring high technical standards including production and review of high-quality technical documentation.

Responsibilities
Contribute to the technical quality of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Structural design development and delivery from concept design to detailed design and ensure work input is of a technically good standard.
Ensure designs are compliant with Australian Standards.
Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects with the ability to accurately predict the time required to fulfil the individual scope of works required.
Ensuring that quality assurance (QA) procedures are implemented and maintained, becoming a champion of QA to uphold a high level of quality
Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies, be vigilant about health and safety even when outside of work hours.
Support the WSP approach to sustainability, future ready and encouraging design teams in a forward-thinking manner to Adopt alternate design technologies to encourage a better footprint for the
environment.
Coordinate with a multi-disciplinary project team.
Communicate with internal peers and project team and be prepared to answer questions regarding deliverables.
Identify improvements (where possible) to enhance WSP service to
clients.

Maintain robust colleague relationships and contribute to the teams’ performance of client satisfaction.
