Responsibilities:

- Manage projects ensuring adherence to global standards and effective communication across diverse teams.
- Lead the Design and development of mechanical components and systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Create and manage detailed 2D and 3D drawings using advanced CAD software(e.g., SolidWorks and AutoCAD,). detail engineering and drawings for products and Layouts also.
- Product BOM management and SAP/ERP data management.
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) principles and perform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure precision, manufacturability, and to identify and address potential issues in assembly and functionality with verification of calculations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, and quality assurance, to drive successful product development and launch.
- Prepare and present comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, BOM and project presentations.
- Mentor junior engineers, offering guidance on best practices, complex design challenges, and lean methodologies.
- Ability to do hand calculations for products like Conveyors & Structures.

Requirements:





- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on Bagging Machines, Special Purpose Machines (SPM) and Material Handling equipment.
- Proficiency in CAD software like SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Have a good understanding and knowledge of standards/code selections like ASME, DIN etc.
- Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;).
- Ability to work independently and effectively work on design projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Robust communication skills with proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Self-disciplined and committed to adhering to company policies and procedures.
