PURPOSE OF ROLE:

The Under Armour MarTech team, responsible for consumer engagement tech including Service, Sales, CDP, Email, SMS, and Push marketing tools, is seeking a Senior Manager, MarTech for our Under Armour India (UAI) office. This role will partner closely with the Global MarTech Engineering leadership team to lead a Salesforce oriented delivery team. This UAI MarTech team will have a heavy focus on Salesforce technologies responsible for building, supporting,



and maintaining consumer and teammate experiences for our digital customer touchpoints on Under Armour owned sites.

Reporting Structure

- You will report directly to a manager employed by Under Armour Global Services Pvt. Ltd. in India.

YOUR IMPACT (Job Responsibilities):

- Lead, mentor, recruit, onboard, and develop high performing full stack engineers and engineering managers, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and technical excellence with a particular focus on frontend architecture (including analytics) and implementation, and backend integration patterns.
- Build and scale a highly effective engineering organization operating in a deeply cross functional environment spanning product, design, delivery, QA, security, infrastructure, and operations.
- Act as a change leader in a fast moving, evolving ecommerce landscape, driving modernization, operational maturity, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to and uphold engineering standards that strengthen Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices across multiple feature teams.
- Communicate transparent execution plans and partner closely with Product Management and Global Engineering to deliver shared platform capabilities that enable web teams to build high performance, customer-centric experiences.
- Collaborate with our infrastructure, backend teams, and solution architecture to ensure features are architected to deliver speed, scale, and timely delivery.
- Contribute to long-term architecture and strategy of Under Armour's e-commerce ecosystem.
- Provide leadership and technical guidance during incident triage helping expedite resolution of customer impact, ensuring clear communication, rapid resolution, and durable post incident improvements (includes periodic 24x7 on call).
- Support evaluation, estimation, and feedback on nonlabor agreements, including vendors, contractors, and strategic partners.
- Support adoption of frontend standards and best practices while also contributing to broader engineering patterns to simplify systems and improve performance, availability, and scalability based on technical and functional considerations.
- Ability to balance near term delivery with long term platform strategy, making tradeoffs that support scalability, developer productivity, and business growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree with typically 10 years of relevant experience or master's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience or typically 14 years of relevant experience without a degree.
- Typically,



3 - 5 years of management experience; or equivalent experience as the subject matter lead or expert.
- Deep expertise in the Salesforce consumer data stack including, SF Core, Service Cloud, SFDC, Salesforce Service Marketing, Marketing Cloud, and Personalization. Agent force experience would be preferred.
- Can architect cross-SF and other cloud solutions to complete an end-to-end customer journey
- Experience with loyalty programs and related technologies is a plus.
- Experience with Integration tooling, next.js, API led integrations and related ecosystem preferred
- Experience working with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions.
- Experience with source control including Git.
- Experience working within a service-oriented architecture.
- Experience with PCI, SOX, and/or GDPR/CCPA legal considerations.

PREFERRED: Ideal candidate has exposure to some of the following technologies and systems:

- Salesforce Service Cloud – Object model, CTI, Salesforce Voice, and Agent force related features
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud – Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Email, SMS, Push
- Salesforce Data Cloud – Data streams, Data Model, Identity resolution, activations
- Mobile Push Platforms (e.g., SFMC, Braze, Amazon SNS)
- Personalization Platforms (e.g., Evergage, Adobe, Dynamic Yield)
- CDPs (e.g., Salesforce, Treasure Data, etc)
- Loyalty Platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Merkle, Oracle, Cheetah)
- Preferred, Experience with development focused on NodeJS, Typescript
- Preferred, Experience managing custom services such as REST and GraphQL APIs with high throughput.
- Preferred, Experience with third party authentication platforms such as Okta for customer login and system to system authentication.

WORKPLACE LOCATION:

- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Bangalore office.
- Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week
